What the critics have said!
"Overall, Hi-8 is a consistently entertaining tribute to a very specific time and style of straight-to-video horror, made both by some of the filmmakers who made that time so interesting and by canny stylistic mimicry by some of its biggest fans." - Jason Coffman, Film Monthly
"This is a must own if there was any doubt that horror is still alive and well. If this is the shape of where indies are heading in the next few years, I am on for the ride." - James D., Wicked Channel.com
"...what makes HI-8 all the more essential viewing as it remembers the day and age of horror done on the cheap and knows how to squeeze every drop of blood from every dollar spent while still being able to deliver the big scare." - Ambush Bug, Ain't It Cool.com
"... a gory low budget paradise to bask in the glory of this horror." - Duane, Rogue Cinema
"Overall, Hi-8 is a love letter to the golden age of horror when horror fans treated the local video stores as chapels and worshiped rare and unusual S.O.V. horror." - Blacktooth, Horror Society
